The One and Only Dope-Show

Thursday, March 20th, 2008

The readers of Routesetter.com spoke in chorus that they wanted how-to videos. Videos that showed other routesetters how to be better setters. So we created the Dope-Show of Knowledge Video Contest.

The winner of the best how-to video would win a new set of So Ill holds.

This was a way for Routesetter.com to get some useful information out to the public in a cool way. But it seems that setters the world over are just too busy to make their own videos and Routesetter.com only received one video.

The video was made by the psyched crew at the Nike Rock Gym in Beaverton, Oregon. One good part about only getting one video is it makes the voting very easy. So without further ado here is the winner of the Dope-Show of Knowledge Video Contest!

The contest obviously didn’t work out the way we had anticipated. So I bring it to you, the readers: Why do you think the contest did not work? Was the prize not worth the effort of producing a 5 minute video? Not enough time?

Let us know and in the mean time we’ll put the slackers here in the office to work on some professionally made videos.
