What do you use to remove dried blood from the walls and holds? It seems like all the chemicals that OSHA/CDC/othe orgs reccomend to totally decontaminate would be harmful to ropes.
Anyone have anything special they use?

Damn... what kind of death-routes are you setting?!?
Are you talking small spots or full-on splatter and pools of blood? The most I've seen on our walls is a quarter-sized spot from someone's knee. Little squirt of Lysol will kill anything and it's not harmful to ropes in any meaningful way.

If you have ever take a look at the IFSC speed wall and holds there will be blood on and near every hold. You really get to notice it when you strip the route to clean holds and then put it back up.
