I've been looking at different little Bosch drills for setting - is there any need to get the more expensive ones or is the cheaper one good enough for mostly stripping holds? Does anyone have experience with the differences between these? Thanks

I never used the Bosch, I have a mikita but you might consider 14V. The 12V might be under powered. Best to get some responses before you buy. Have you looked into the sockets? I know that someone posted a part number for Grainger but I don't remember the number.
good luck.

I have been using the same 12v Bosch impact and driver (they came as a set from amazon for $140) for 3+ years and I have done nothing but try and convince others to buy them. The impact driver is capable of driving a 5"x1/2" lag bolt into two 2x4's without a pilot hole...plenty of power for setting. Batteries last a long time and charge fast. Both drivers have been dropped from height, used heavily, and generally abused within normal gym wear and tear and still crank like they came out of the box.
There are several threads on RS.com that they are mentioned in. Several others have equally good reviews of the Bosch set.
