so i need to know where you guys order to get bang for your buck. i am currently putting in an order with atomik, who put out a good product at a cheap price, but i want more. i have a lot of wall space that i need to fill, and while climb, project, egrips, etc put out great holds, they dont fill my walls on a 500 dollar a month budget. ive dealt with etch and i already own the entire rock candy catalogue. any more ideas?

In terms of cost per hold. I would look at Element. Their shapes are solid though the catalog is not as extensive as some of the older companies. They have a good discount for gyms and great customer service.
I buy jugs from Atomiks and they are pretty much the fastest company in terms of getting holds to you as well as inexpensive.

Hmmm.... What is cost effective? That sounds to me like you want your items made of the highest quality yet for the lowest cost. And as in any retail industry, that really means you're just looking for cheap s***. If you want a Lexus because of the safety ratings, you dont go out and buy Camry because it earned a 5star rating. Its just not the same thing. I dont understand the mentality sometimes.
Im sure every company here is trying to be as "cost effective" or "best bang for your buck" as humanly possible, but you have to draw the line somewhere.
Im shocked that all these companies offer gyms different pricing? Arent they the main customers(?)- Im just ranting now... I'll shadup!

lol @ donovan... youre over thinking this imo. i dont expect the highest quality nor the coolest shapes. i just want functional holds that aren't complete crap at a good price. essentially i am looking for a camry or a civic, not a lexus at a camry price. i have beginner wall space to fill and dont want to hand lexus' (lexi?) to drivers that just got their license (to carry the metaphor a bit further).

So Ill just put out a ton of new sets with great shapes. Not the cheapest but definitely quality. Talk to Dan, they have gym accounts with discounts. I love their holds.
