Excellent topic, really let down by your last comment
Occupation: You're excelling at it
I had a number of team kids there and they all had a blast. I think it is great that there are big comps for kids that are not USAclimbing affiliated, it is a great way for the sport to grow.
The only complaints I heard were from parents regarding the quality of the food, lack of organization at the pro clinics and the fact that finials ran late (all forgivable for a first year event in my opinion).
From a setting standpoint the routes looked fun but the reaches were a bit big for climbers 10 and younger. Dividing the kids into 2 age groups was a challenge for the climbers on the younger side in their age but offered a great opportunity to compete against older climbers.
