I've understood that Bron tape is the best routesetting tape available.
I believe Metolius has that in their portfolio.
So far i've been unsuccesfull in getting that through their distributor.
Can anyone tell me which exact tape it is from Bron?
Does anyone know how to get a bunch of that tape to the netherlands within two weeks? I need it for a small local comp :-)

You need to find "Pro-Gaff"-- Lots of colors, and it the BEST tape you will use for setting. Works great on wood surfaces as well as concrete. If you are lucky, you can find it online through Rosebrand for about $6/roll.
This is what you want whether you realize it yet or not. Dont screw around.....buy this.
I recommend a professional gaffa tape with a matte finish as used by stage and theater professionals.
I've used al kinds of duct tapes and that stuff leaves lots of residue, and comes off under the spotlights.
We've used Nichiban gaffa tape, which is readily available in Black and white, and also comes in other colors.(search better)
We've also the tape from metolius, which is in fact Bron tape. I did not notice any difference in the tapes from Bron / Nichiban.
The stuff that Joe indicates seems to be similair (well it must be a bit better as joe is so convinced that it is the best)

i know that in the states you can get the tapes quite easily, but here in europe its a different thing. and most of the companies i have contacted dont ship to europe unless you buy a whole cargo container...

Your local metolius dealer should be able to get the the bron tape. I believe they ship it in 6 rolls of 1 inch. 6 colors.
Nichiban should be easily available throughout europe

Any professional gaffa tape should be (almost) perfect so talk to your local theater supplier.
