So I have set this a few times for our members, and each time they get really stoked, and I find it an excellent way to get people psyched to work out a bit.
It's called the Ring of Fire. It's essentially a loop of jugs, about 10 feet in diameter (scale to make it easier(shorter) or harder(longer). I usually set it as all feet, to give people the option to find certain rests, or just really work on staying on the wall. One lap would be consistent with about a V1 for our gyms standards, obviously getting hard the more laps you do.
It is set on our ~35* wall, and the trick is to do as many laps (in either direction) that you can. I tape up a short explanation, and people dig it!
If it works for your member base, give it a try, I may upload a picture at some later date, but it's pretty self explanatory.
I was given the idea by stories of Beth Rodden growing up in our gym and training by just making continuous movement on the same wall, with a little guidance thrown in.
Cheers,
Boz
