Since we were on the topic of taping, I though i would throw out a topic that I recently discussed with other setters at my gym.
My gym's policy of taping the finish of a boulder problem is the standard "V" tape at the spot on the top rail of the boulder wall where we want the problem to end. Im actually a fan of the taped box that pinpoints the acceptable area of the rail where the climb should finish. Because most of the members of my gym dont get to other gyms, some people couldn't visualize this and though that the tried and true V tape was the best way to go.
Just wondering what most gyms tend to be doing to tape the finish of their boulder problems.
