Their hold production has been done by someone else for a while now. It's not really a trade secret who's doing it, but I don't feel it's my place to say.
As for new shapes, they have several foam designs waiting in the wings that I did for them. I'm not sure what their plans are for putting them into production.

thanks, louie... I was thinking egrips or franklin...but didnt know for sure. I was more curious if they woud have different textures/compositions than the older voodoo stuff from years back - I read on the site they were using off site production, and who some of the shapers are, but not if they were reusing old molds or you guys duplicated them for the new vendor, or what resin they used now compared to then. Just curious, thats all. since someone else was casting if they would "feel" like someone elses holds.

Great question! Hi,I'm Gina from VooDoo. The company that manufactures for us does manufacture holds for several other hold companies but none of the materials, molds, or processes are shared with other companies. Our manufacturer runs a very professional operation and they produce several urethane parts for markets outside of the climbing industry.
VooDoo urethane mixes are proprietary custom formulations and have actually improved a bit since we moved our production. It's been a dream come true for us - the process is super efficient so we have very few seconds and the quality control is amazing! Our molds and textures are always the same. All of our molds are made from our original masters so the shapes and textures will never change when remolded. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions and Thank you for the opportunity to clear up any confusion.Posted 2 years ago # -
awesome, thanks Gina. I love to see some of my old favorites making a go at it again - I can't wait to get a few more from the "vault"
