If you look at the hold market as I do on a daily basis you're going to notice something.... similarly sized holds are about the same price (I'm talking about Canada and the US more than anything else)
There are cheap holds out there if brand isn't a problem....
The cheapest bang for your buck is Atomik in most cases, they've got some pretty good shapes that come out pretty cheap... Three Ball Climbing as well
Nicros keep having deals / sales on their holds as do Element Climbing / Rock Candy / Contact etc. Most companies have deals from time to time, there were a lot just before Xmas.When you factor in shipping then keeping to your "home" country is normally your best option... Motavation Volumes offered free shipping for a while, Atomik does to the lower states (I believe) and Uncarved Bloc out in Australia offered free shipping for years and years
It's really a case of "what holds do I want shape wise" and then shopping around from there.
